This display is on the corner of the Phantom Canyon Road which is also State Hwy 67/Cr 81. 67 heads down the Canyon into Canyon City, 81 takes you through Goldfield and back to 67 in the Gillette Flats area. Its a spectacular drive, either way! The groom was primed and ready, the shotgun loaded, and we were pleasantly entertained by the ceremoney. The smell of golden leaves composting in a bed of pine and duff....the crrrissspp sound of your horse's hooves as they tread on trails of gold......the air is clean and the skies are blue!
